New OnePlus 6 Features Leaked In Major Update

The last software update for the OnePlus 6 may have removed a beloved feature, but the next update looks set to improve the smartphone in other areas.
Following on from updates to the Chinese-focused Hydrogen OS, OnePlus’ Oxygen OS is expected to offer the same broad feature updates to owners of the newly released OnePlus 6 and other compatible devices (no doubt including the OnePlus 5T and OnePlus 5).

In the Hydrogen update was activation of the front facing selfie camera, which was originally announced at launch, a portrait mode preview for the rear camera, game optimisations, phone call voice optimisation, the option to automatically add Bluetooth calls in headphone mode, and a battery percentage icon in the status bar.
Presumably the battery percentage will actually show up on the status bar after the update, rather than just when you pull down notification bar like it is now.
The feature list for HydrogenOS has also been confirmed by OnePlus on its forums. The question now is how soon the changes will jump from the Chinese platform to the platform for the rest of the world. The update addresses a number of issues facing OnePlus 6 owners, including the issues of call handling and bluetooth pairing.
